My heart sank when you said you didn't think anyone would notice your absence here on UA-cam. I most certainty have noticed. I had been waiting to see your beautiful face pop up in my latest videos feed, so glad I came to your channel. I wish I had of now much sooner. I am so, so sorry your dealing with depression and burn out. I can relate to everything you said. The one thing that changed my life and that I can hear sweetheart you may need to introduce into your life, is self kindness and love. It doesn't mean your dropping your work ethic, but hun, you are so precious, so sweet, so considerate, so thoughtful of others but you don't show yourself that same kindness. You are very right when you say you need rest. You also need to be kind to yourself. You are such an incredibly inspiring artist, who has absolutely made an impact on more peoples minds than you realize through your art. That alone is an incredible achievement. I cannot wait to see your coloring book, your UA-cam videos are brilliant, your sculptures are so beautiful and original, you have sooo much going for you. You inspire me. More than you could ever know. Absolutely you are noticed in this world sweetheart. You are noticed and your loved. I hope the sun shines down on you today and keep remembering to be kind to you xo

Hi, i had same thing, i was an artist n at fifty years old, i experienced similar stuff after a break up, so, anyway, i found that my body was changing n it tooks statins, n heart meds to fux my balance n emotions, not psych meds, .. once on regular heart meds for high blood pressure i stopped crying each day, n was normal, n dont have any problems for years now, its heart based, u may think im wrong, but i am a bona fide genius inventor, o created internet, memory, computer, color tv, fax so much.. so see if your blood pressure us bouncing around, or cholestrol is high, or lacking vit d, n what your missing good luck

I commented before I saw the part of the death of Roger. Heartbreaking, I have been there. Time will heal. I know this as most of us have been through this. It is very hard. I hope you can climb out of your depression and grief.

Hello Stephanie, Thank you for your honest and yet candid review of the foundation Evolve painting course. I also am taking this course a bit slower than recommended, But am Learning so much information in the process. My real medium love is watercolor. Currently in the end of block 3 and about to start block 4. I also find it difficult to make the time to paint every day. Once again, thank you for your review!

I'm sorry about your cat friend. I'm going through this right now as well. I lost my dog of 17 yrs a couple months ago and I've been just feeling numb, guilt, sadness most days. Also feeling the overwhelm of finishing things and showing them to the world, post on social media. I had a big project looming over my head that I had to present to a panel for approval that was really stressing me out as well that made the time going by almost feel like pergatory and was also a big distraction. I have up and down days, though at least now. I have had weeks that were as you describe as "holes". One thing that has helped me a bit is creating an index of all the little things that give me joy that I can refer back to. So I have about 50 things from specific foods, to visiting certain locations, certain movies, certain authors, certain scents etc etc that give me a tiny boost and when I feel like shit, I visit the index and I force myself to do some of them. Then I just have faith that like planting a seed, it may not be an immediate cure, but it will come in a day or two after I make the effort and go through the motions of getting better and it usually does. Meditating can help too and I tend to gravitate towards the ones that involve visualizations versus just blanking the mind. It's still new to me though, but seems promising. It's been a month. I hope you feel a lot better. If you noticed anything that helped you get around the bend this time, please share.

Thank you for helping so many of us feel "normal". I struggle daily with burn out, depression and grief, and knowing that others out here are in the same boat helps normalize not being "okay" Chin up, friend. It will get better.

This is a fantastic video. I definitely tend to be very stressed when creating. I am working on re-embracing the idea of creating art being "play". Perfectionism is really not fun. Also... in English, we refer to the hand we use for writing, etc, being our "dominant" hand. Those who use both for writing and such are ambidextrous.
